{"id":629,"date":"2019-11-19T00:03:55","date_gmt":"2019-11-19T08:03:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jumpcamp.com\/blog\/?p=629"},"modified":"2019-11-19T00:08:39","modified_gmt":"2019-11-19T08:08:39","slug":"snowboard-drive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.jumpcamp.com\/blog\/index.php\/2019\/11\/19\/snowboard-drive\/","title":{"rendered":"The JumpCamp Christmas Snowboard Drive \u201819"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Christmas is coming so it\u2019s time for JumpCamp\u2019s annual Snowboard Drive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust like a toy drive we\u2019re collecting snowboards, boots, jackets and pants to be distributed to less fortunate youth and families in the Comox Valley,\u201d said JumpCamp owner and operator Patrick Kitto.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAt JumpCamp we understand that snowboarding can be an expensive sport and we want to provide as much help to get kids involved,\u201d Kitto said. \u201cLast year we were able to donate ten boards and lots of gear to the John Howard Society for their youth programs. This year we want to double that!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe JumpCamp Snowboard Drive works with many local organizations and businesses to make this happen but we depend on the generosity of the people in the Comox Valley to make donations.\u201d he added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Gear can be dropped off at the <strong>front desk of the Lewis Centre at 489 Old Island Highway<\/strong>, or call \/ text Patrick at (250) 792-2896 www.jumpcamp.com for pickup. You can also donate your refundable empties at the bottle depot to account \u201cJumpCamp\u201d # 554 to support the JumpCamp Snowboard Drive.
